As local authorities continue to face unprecedented budget cutbacks, how can planners and others ensure that the move towards low carbon communities; carbon reduction targets; sustainable energy sources and community energy schemes can still instigated and delivered?
This half day summit will be held in Manchester, and offers planners and elected members the opportunity to hear and learn about practical solutions from the UK, Germany and Sweden. The session also includes a presentation from the Award-winning Limburg region in Belgium on the transformation of an ex-mining area from a carbon economy to a green economy.
